Southern California Business Broker: About the author, Ron Van Orden

Ron was born and raised in Southern California and attended the University of Montana. "One reason that it is exciting to be a Southern California Business Broker is that there are over 500,000 businesses that fit our ideal client profile."

Ron has a background in the corporate world and as a business owner. Ron has experience working with organizations and businesses large and small.

Post-college Ron worked in restaurant management, opening one of the most popular restaurants in the "Old Town" Pasadena area. Ron exited the restaurant industry and took a position with a Fortune 500 organization. Ron excelled in this arena, won awards and moved up the ranks.

Ron left the corporate world when an opportunity presented itself. Identifying a need in the marketplace, Ron established and built his own distribution business that served the education community throughout the Southern California area. The business grew rapidly and sales exceed 3 million dollars annually. Ron's wife continues to operate the business.

Ron is an active member of the California Association of Business Brokers.

When not working Ron enjoys sailing, volleyball, swimming, traveling, and spending time on Catalina Island.

Ron lives in the San Gabriel Valley with his wife and one year old daughter.
